On May 5, 2009, The Onion published a classic. “Shirtless Biden Washes Trans Am In White House Driveway” read the headline in the parody newspaper, above a photoshop of the vice president in jean cut-offs, shammy in hand. In the three and a half years since, The Onion’s version of Biden jumped the Vietnam memorial on a motorcycle, hitchhiked to the DNC, got banned for life from Dave & Buster’s, and became an Internet legend. With Obama’s re-election, we’ve got four more years to enjoy the imaginary adventures of American history’s most gregarious veep.
