At a campaign rally in Roanoke, Va., Obama said that every business gets help from the government in some way: education, research, infrastructure. But taken out of context, his awkward phrasing made it seem as if he was saying businesses were not responsible for their own success. Conservatives pounced, and Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade even asked two girls who run a lemonade stand what they thought of the President’s comment. The girls called it “rude.”
