<p><a href="http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/individual/2007_11/012430.php">Decisions, decisions…</a> I confess satisfaction that my number one pick is winning. My criteria was not “most conservative” (I’d have to go with <a href="http://tinyurl.com/2ag7hl">this</a>), nor “stupidest” (which I think has to be this <a href="http://www.theothersideofkim.com/index.php/essays/41/">one</a>), nor “most insane” (<a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20060703070257/http://www.tnr.com/blog/culture?pid=22271">this</a> for paranoid-meglomaniac-type insane, <a href="http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2007/10/atlas-first-mus.html">this</a> one for just plain crazy pants.), nor “most insensitive” (straight up tie between <a href="http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=YzllOTU0MDUzY2NhZDE2YmViYmRiNmE5ZjM1OWQxYTU=">this</a> and <a href="http://www.nationalreview.com/goldberg/goldberg200509060945.asp">this</a>). “Most inaccurate” would be too difficult to determine (though <a href="http://blogoland.blogspot.com/2006/03/hugh-hewitt-terror-warrior.html">this one</a> is awfully stupid). It was just “what post would most embarrass a person of reasonable intelligence,” leavened with the idea that the post should also somehow reflect an idea or thought that, if blogs did not exist, would never have been expressed (which ruled out <a href="http://tinyurl.com/fje2l">this</a>).</p>
<p>But you get to vote for five! Crossing my fingers for a run-off.</p>
<p>(And let’s also not worry about a lefty version of the same idea. I’m sure it’s in the works if not already out there…)</p>
