Speaker of the House John Boehner addresses the 113th Congress in the Capitol in Washington January 3, 2013.

Here’s some bleak political news: Gallup today released a poll showing that just 10% of Americans have confidence in their representatives in Congress. It is the lowest level Gallup has measured for any institution since 1973. Newspapers and television news don’t fare too well either, with only 23% of those polled expressing faith in these media outlets. The poll was conducted June 1-4, 2013, with a random sample of 1,529 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Check out the poll for yourself below.

So they have a ways to go before they are as popular as head lice and roaches.

Hey I pull down at least 500K a year from over charging the US gov. for providing sanitary napkins that don't exist to Iraq through a bogus off-shore corporation in my dog's name.  Congress is fine by me.  You people complain, complain, complain... while we live in the greatest country in the history of the world... especially my world.

Maybe a few more votes to repeal ObamaCare or grandstanding hearings on Benghazi and the IRS should do the trick. I'm betting with a few more of those they can get sub 5% with no problem.

Most people know that it's the GOP House that aren't attending to the country's business. All thry want to do on a daily basis is jam the black guy.The question to me is  - who are the 10% who like Congress? Isn't it about time they are rounded up and put in re-education camps, since pre frontal lobotomies are no longer performed:-)

Let's see now.... you got Congressmens' parents, lobbyists, CEO's, possibly their next door neighbors.  Still don't see how you get to 10%

I figure the 10% that likes Congress are their staffers and their families and those of their staffers.  Probably some even have mothers who won't even "recognize" them at Sunday dinner.
