Bill Maher

Political satirist Bill Maher announced in a Yahoo stand-up special on Thursday that he is giving $1 million to Priorities USA Action, the super PAC backing President Obama, “I would like to announce tonight a donation to the Obama Super PAC which has the very unfortunate tongue-twister name Priorities USA Action. I know, it was named by Borat,” Maher said. “Tonight I would like to give that PAC one million dollars.” The HBO host has long been open about his political agenda and disdain for the current GOP candidates. He signed his check with the words “kicking ass.”
Eva Longoria

The Desperate Housewives star was named a national co-chair of Obama’s re-election campaign on Thursday. Longoria will be one of the 35 national leaders on the campaign who will “serve as ambassadors for the President, advise the campaign on key issues, and help engage and mobilize voters in all 50 states.” Longoria, a long time supporter of Obama, has visited the White House on several occasions, and has raised at least $100,000 for Obama and the DNC this cycle.
