Meta Post: SwampCasts

1. We’re coming to the end of week two of daily SwampCasts. We’ve tried a couple of different approaches and several locations. We’d love to hear from you what works and what doesn’t. Feel free to offer suggestions on improving them production-values wise, but understand we’re operating a little out of the Time comfort zone and outside of the luxurious zone of the Time budget. Put another way: we’re always going to be rough around the edges, but we’d like to make sure you can understand what we’re saying. (And I never realized I did that weird slow blinking thing with my eyes; working on that.)

2. A few people have suggested a week-ending wrap-up SwampCast with more of the SwampCrew. It’s a great idea and we’re working on implementing it. If we do it, the idea of using that time to answer some reader questions is also a good one, and we will try that, too.

The Fact Checking Fun House: Crossroads GPS vs. Team Obama

Have you seen the latest Crossroads GPS fact check of the Obama Campaign fact check of a Crossroads GPS ad that relies on a fact check by Politifact, but fails to point out that Politifact called the same ad “mostly false”?

No? Well, then. You have come to the right place. Though we must caution: If you continue reading this post, you do so at significant risk your own faith in the American Democratic process.
