SNL Whacks Toomey-Manchin Gun Control Compromise

Last week Sens. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) and Joe Machin (D-W.Va.) stood up on stage touting their bipartisan deal expanding background checks to cover all sales at gun shows and over the Internet. Their amendment, according to The Hill, “could help pass the most far-reaching gun control bill in nearly two decades.” SNL was not so impressed.

Is this bill what we wanted? No. Is it what the NRA wanted? No. But does it at least help in some small way? No.
