Eliot Spitzer, former governor of New York, has ended his 26 year marriage to Silda Wall Spitzer, who famously stood by his side in a 2008 press conference as he confessed to having extramarital affairs with prostitutes.
The couple announced their decision to separate on Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. They have reportedly been living apart for months.
