When a group of White House photographers staged a mutiny on Thursday, complaining that they were being shut out of events while the White House produced images of its own, White House photographer Pete Souza responded in the form of a says-it-all tweet.

On Thursday, the White House Correspondents Association sent a letter to press secretary Jay Carney saying “As surely as if they were placing a hand over a journalist’s camera lens, officials in this administration are blocking the public from having an independent view of important functions of the Executive Branch of government.”

On Thursday night, Souza, who releases photos of the president on Instagram and Twitter, responded with a visual “Oh yeah?”
