Former President Bill Clinton said Monday he hopes to see a female president in his lifetime.
“I think it will be a good thing for the world as well as for America,” Clinton told an audience at a conference in Beijing, AFP reports.
Clinton called his wife, former Secretary of State and possible 2016 Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, “the ablest public servant I have ever worked with,” but said he doesn’t know if she’ll make a run for the White House or not.
“It’s very interesting for us,” he said. “We still feel young and we still feel healthy.”
