If you’re a night owl without health insurance, this just might spoil your plans.

The application page for the Obama administration’s problem-plagued health insurance exchange website will go offline every night between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. EST until further notice, while programmers try to fix what’s hobbling implementation of President Barack Obama’s signature health care law.

“Additional down times may be possible as we work to make things better,” the Department of Health and Human Services on Sunday said in announcing the planned outages of Healthcare.gov.

The troubled website has been fodder for Republican critics of the law. Obama has acknowledged the problems, and reiterated last week his pledge that the site will be fixed soon. The administration has said it will work properly by the end of November.
