Vice President Joe Biden didn’t sit idly by on Thursday after a Republican House member picked on a park ranger in front of the capital’s World War II Memorial.
Following the ugly incident where Congressman Randy Neugebauer lambasted a park ranger for preventing veterans from accessing the memorial that was closed due the federal government’s budgetary impasse, Biden phoned the civil servant to offer warm words of support.
“I’m proud of you,” VP called to tell the Park Ranger who was chastised by a GOP Rep today at the WWII Memorial.
