Democrats on the Senate Budget Committee released an animated video, “I’m Just a Budget,” on Monday to highlight the fact that it has been 100 days since the Senate passed a budget. Senate Republicans have blocked efforts to appoint conferees to negotiate differences between the House and Senate budgets in a conference committee.

“I’m just a budget, I’m 100 days old, and Congress has put me on hold,” a sunglass-wearing anthropomorphic budget sings in the video interlaced with clips from Democrats calling for a conference committee and Republicans objecting. It ends with a remix of the song.

The video is a parody of the famous Schoolhouse Rock song “I’m Just a Bill.”
