Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is hitting the paid speaking circuit this month, delivering her first paid remarks since leaving office to the National Multi Housing Council’s 2013 Spring Board of Directors Meeting in Dallas.
At the Four Seasons Resort & Club on April 24, Clinton will address “senior apartment executives from the industry’s leading firms,” according to the trade industry group’s website. The speech is the night before the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center at Southern Methodist University 15 miles away.
Clinton has kept a low profile since leaving the State Department in February other than her pre-recorded endorsement of same-sex marriage last month, turning to focus on her memoirs of her time as the nation’s top diplomat.
She consistently tops both Democratic Party and national surveys for the 2016 presidential contest, though Clinton has yet to make a decision on running for the White House again.
In the meantime, one industry source predicted she will earn more than $200,000 per speech.
