If You Can’t Explain Health Reform, Draw It

Back in September, I tipped my hat to the Kaiser Family Foundation for its rather outstanding way of explaining the Affordable Care Act via a nine-minute cartoon video. Now Jonathan Gruber, the economist most associated with health reform, wants to top that. According to the Boston Herald, he has a contract to write a graphic novel tentatively titled, “Health Care Reform: What It Is, Why It’s Necessary, How it Works.”

Brilliant or bizarre? Maybe both?

The Herald reports that Gruber’s editor has experience with graphic novels about September 11 and the Constitution. Gruber is an MIT economist who helped design health reform in Massachusetts and who consulted for the Obama Administration. (h/t Ben Smith)
