Attorney General Eric Holder testifying on Capitol Hill in Washington, Jan. 29, 2014.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was briefly hospitalized and then discharged Thursday after becoming faint and short of breath during a regular morning meeting with senior staff.

Holder was taken to MedStar Washington Hospital Center to undergo evaluation.

“He is currently resting comfortably and in good condition,” the Department of Justice said in a statement before Holder’s release. “He is alert and conversing with his doctors.”

My guess is atrial fibrillation. He is about the right age to get a first episode, and certainly has the requisite amount of pressure in his job that can generate excess electricity in his heart. If so, he has my sympathy.

Where was Hillary? Don't forget Vince Foster. Eric is lucky that other people were around to protect him from that she-demon.

@sacredh  Come on, sacred, I expect better of you. That sounds more like what FAUX would be reporting.

@reallife , I was thinking Cheney but I won't quibble. It was his heart after all.
