Michelle Obama celebrated her milestone birthday in presidential style at the White House Saturday night, with a star-studded guest list, including Samuel L. Jackson, Smokey Robinson, and Magic Johnson.

The top-secret event boasted a performance by Beyonce, who sang for the couple at the president’s inauguration in 2009 and his swearing in.

Mrs. Obama’s actual birthday was on Friday.

The superficiality of this Administration knows no bounds. With all the problem this country this country is facing you would think celebrating somebody`s birthday would be at least low key. Laura Bush did not reach even half of what Michelle Obama extravagance. It reminds me of Nero playing his saxophone while Rome was burning.

@ReneDemonteverde Maybe she should have landed on an aircraft carrier.  She's an excellent first lady and role model; what's YOUR problem?  Nero played the banjo, FYI.

@MartinBensky @ReneDemonteverde Sorry stand corrected. Did google it and found Nero was a mean banjo player. Maybe if you could give a tip on some of his discs available. And by the way, no I do not have a problem. This country does. It is teetering on the edge of penury, disrespected by foes and allies alike, in up to its eyeballs in debt with China, China rattling our allies in the Pacific with nary a care or fear of us. Or are you still sleeping under the log ?

Martin is another taker. They love those who provide him a easy life at the expense of his neighbors, that's why he adores the Obama's. Pay no mind to the freeloader..
