An example of problems in US health care is my med. cost 725.00 for generic a month that millions of people have to take.  Or I can pay 22.00 for generic a month from Canada.  Same med.  It will be cheaper for me to use my insurance to get Zyprexa instead of getting it from Canada when I get my insurance.

Why can't we have universal healthcare that is not a burden. Cut the defense budget; more Americans die from some disease than they do terrorism. We already spend more than the next 13 countries combined. The point of a government is to protect the people and resources. We are not doing enough for our people. It should be equally "free" for all people who register. There should be a choice to not register. Their compromises screwed up the whole thing.

OBAMACARE is nothing more than Stalinism-lite.  Try going to a hospital and you will find yourself in something like "The Joseph Stalin Memorial Salt Mine # 12".

The deadline will be what ever the President decides through executive action. Just as it has been, so far.

"If you like your plan, you can keep your plan (if I like it), period".

Make sense?

@jsmith01284 I agree there should be a choice not a register ( like Hitler had ) but the cuts should come out of benefits and wages of congress, the president, IRS, and other government agencies NOT the young solders we send out to die for us! ( who would rather stay home with their family's ) to keep us free.

@jsmith01284 Good idea. Let's cut the defense budget, eliminate food stamps, eliminate federal subsidies for farmers and business people, eliminate all federal safety nets and implement universal healthcare. I think that would be a fair trade.

@eagle11772  Any hospital visit is a potential nightmare but that hasn't changed one way or another because of Obamacare.  Also, you need to read a history of Russia before you equate anything that Obamacare does with Stalinism.  There simply is no way to equate the two.

@eagle11772 Why would Republicans, backed by The Heritage Foundation propose "Stalinism-lite" Eagle?

@barneydidit For that matter is the Heritage Foundation the standard of conservatism or are they just a lobby organization with their own personal interests.  As a conservative I would go with the latter and I would never donate money to them.

I am so tired of hearing this liberal argument. I don't care who said it was a good idea. I think it's a shame to have to coerce people to buy anything, even auto insurance.

@barneydidit @eagle11772 I think you're on to something. Both sides have increased the deficit to the trillions. Both sides have increased the size of government. Both sides are enriched when this happens.
