A documentary chronicling Mitt Romney’s runs for the White House will premiere on Netflix in January.

The film, Mitt, follows Romney’s two presidential runs from Christmas 2006 through his faled 2008 effort to win the Republican nomination, and the 2012 campaign he lost to President Barack Obama in the general election. The film reportedly ends with Romney’s November 2012 concession speech and includes a behind the scenes look at Romney and his family.

“I couldn’t believe I was filming inside rooms and situations I had no business being in,” said director Greg Whiteley, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Whiteley had extensive access to the campaign.

Mitt will make its debut at Sundance on Jan. 17. The film will then be available on Netflix on Jan. 24.

They tried to edit it for an R rating (Relevant) but could only get a PG (Plastic Gubernatorial... or Plastic Goober for short).

President Romney will attend the premiere in his Mormon underwear.  Nothing else.

I wonder if President McCain will attend the premiere?

Will it cover his frantic attempts to hide his tax returns from the time of the UBS Tax Amnesty scandal?

Watching a documentary about Mitt. Isn't that slightly less exicting than watching paint dry?

I think history shows that "behind the scenes" filming of Willard works out well.

Not for Willard, but still.

Brilliant- 90 minutes of Mitt either asking his handlers "what would a real person say if they were asked THIS question", or telling people "let me be absolutely clear...I never said THAT".

That's where it will die too. Maybe a dancing pony will help to draw a larger crowd.

@roknsteve You Wanna try that again? Only, maybe with knowledge about the religion you're making fun of? Mormon underwear. That is pure ignorance right there. They are called Garments and they remind us of our covenants with heavenly father. That's why they are white. Do you really want to make fun of a covenant? Go to LDS.org and read about our religion before you make pointless comments like this. Have a good day.
