Here’s an early holiday treat. Now you can adorn your Christmas tree with an ornament based on a painting by the artist formerly known as President George W. Bush.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center is selling the $29.98 ornament featuring a miniature replica of a red cardinal that Bush painted for the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Warren Tichenor.

In a video posted to the Center’s site, Bush — an avid painter — explains that his wife Laura liked the painting and its holiday colors and selected it to be the family’s Christmas card.

Perhaps a more appropriate Christmas ornament for GW Bush would be a prosthetic leg or arm considering all the hundreds of amputees and multiple-amputees among US-Coalition forces and among the civilian populations in Afghanistan and Iraq after 20+ years of combined Bush-Cheney wars based upon lies, deceit, arrogance, incompetence and greed. There are an estimated 100,000 amputees in Afghanistan alone, news not covered by US media of course.

Obama thought about doing a Obamacare themed ornament this year, but basically it's just the hook, because no ornament actually exists. There is no way possible of ordering it online unless you want to try for 6 hours. The upfront cost is $25.00, but when you go to checkout, it's $78.00 plus tax. Dodgy...

@ThomasHall

It's been Obama's war for the last 6 years. Over 1,500 troops have died since Obama has been president. Not to mention the hundred's of innocent civilians including 2 Americans(without due process),  that have died during Obama's Drone Wars.

@roknsteve, at least it wasn't one of his self-nudes with a candy cane and popcorn balls.

@TerryClifton02 @ThomasHall Let me guess: attend college, serve in the military, serve your God or country in any way?

Pres. Obama inherited two, Bush-Cheney wars.He has been in office since 1/09 less than five years. Under Bush-Cheney over 6,000 US-Coalition soldiers have died, hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded, hundreds of amputees and multiple amputees, thousands with lifetime wounds, traumatic brain injuries, and PTSD, with 22 post-combat veteran suicides daily, hundreds of thousands of Afghanistan and Iraq civilian deaths. Yet, neither country actually attacked America nor posed a serious threat to America, it was all Bush-Cheney and administration lies totaling 500 public lies to Americans, to Congress and to the world via the UN complete with false PowerPoint graphics and CIA Dir. George "slam dunk" Tenet backup andelater given the Medal of Freedom by GW Bush for playing along.

Also, al Qaeda our actual 911 enemy, has made up less than five percent of all US-Coalition enemy combatants in the two wars combined at 20+ years and projected to cost $6 trillion as the lifetime of war bills and costly VA healthcare come in.

Throw in all the Bush-Cheney illegal actions like unprecedented, torture as US policy; illegal secret prisons globally in 50 countries (which Bush denied) where over 100 inmates have died; illegal farming out torture to other countries; circumvented the Constitution and US laws of habeus corpus with Gitmo, Abu Ghraeb, etc.; illegally outed a CIA agent for political payback; and actual illegal domestic spying and warrantless wiretaps.

As to the Drone Wars far fewer civilians have died during targeted drone attacks than during the "shock and awe" bombing in Iraq that accidentally included a civilian bomb shelter that killed a hundred of so alone and tens of thousands of civilians dead not hundreds during the two Bush-Cheney wars. It also can be argued that has Bush not needlessly attacked Iraq drawing troops and support from Afghanistan the US-Coalition casualty count would have been lower. No US troops killed with drone attacks and many times more al Qaeda leaders including two Americans who went over to the enemy making them enemies, as if the GOP really cared about these people or any others.

Also you failed to mention the 435+ GOP-approved war profiteers in Afghanistan and Iraq that made billions like insider-favorite, Halliburton that wasted hundreds of billions in failed nation-building and failed support of our troops.
