US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney (L) speaks with the Reverend Billy Graham (C) and his son Franklin (R) during a visit to the Graham's Cabin in Montreat, North Carolina, on October 11, 2012.

The birthday bash for Reverend Billy Graham kicked off with a call for restraint. “We’re going to have a short evening,” his son said. “Daddy’s 95.”

It took two hours for roughly 900 guests to celebrate, serenade and heap praise on Graham in the ballroom of a North Carolina hotel.

Fox News reports that Donald Trump and Sarah Palin sat on either side of the birthday boy, and Kathie Lee Gifford sang to him on stage. “Billy Graham, we need you around another 95 years,” Palin said.
