Vice President Joe Biden was kind enough to call Marty Walsh to congratulate him on his electoral victory Tuesday to become the next mayor of Boston. “You son of a gun, Marty!” he said. “You did it!”

One problem: Biden had the wrong Walsh.

“We’ve had this for the past 20 years happening back and forth,” said non-mayor-elect Walsh, who happens to be a former staffer for Sen. Edward Kennedy. “Marty tells a funny story from 2006 when Kennedy thanked me from the stage and his mother thought it was for him.

Non-mayor Walsh offered to help Biden track down the right Walsh. He said he got other jubilant calls from around the country too, and probably wasn’t the only one to receive an errant congrats that night.

“We’re a dime a dozen in Boston,” he told the Boston Globe. “I probably know eight Marty Walshes.”

To be fair....

Biden probably didn't dial the phone....or fetch the number.  I'm sure it was some staffer of his

And the wrong call in other places was made by the Brothers Koch who through two front organizations, the Tea Party (TP) and the Americans for Prosperity (AFP), fail to connect anywhere.In efforts big time and small potatoes, from the Boardwalks of New Jersey to the Coralville strip in Iowa and on down South for all the big bucks they spent they did not call in a single winner.

But TP and AFP bought a lot of hostility for the Brothers Koch and even some camaraderie among Democrats and Republicans in small city Coralville where AFP for apparent experimental purposes tried to disparage popular elected government at its grass roots by insisting all of the incumbent candidates in city government get thrown out.

The slam failed miserably in a city election on ballot where candidates do not run under party label.The incumbents were overwhelmingly reelected and a call from VP Joe Biden came in congratulation of the whole community and the candidates that are registered as Democrats and Republicans but do not run as partisans.

@SamOsborne

That is a fabricated, fleeting attempt to "revise" or at least ameliorate the obvious contempt ALL AMERICAN PEOPLE have for the subversive Tea Party by (what else) trying to condition the People to "make the Tea Party seem distinct from the GOP" (LIE) and (2) deceptively characterize the orchestrated efforts of the Foreign funded Koch Brothers to promote unqualified, antigovernment puppets as something separate and distinct from its actual malice towards the rule of law.

"apparent experimental purposes."
