The Texas Republican Senator, leader of the defund Obamacare movement, jokes:
If the clown gets the GOP nomination, I wonder what insults he'll throw at the swing states he visits?
As long as Cruz keeps firing his badly aimed missiles that in the end strike and explode on him and the GOP/TEA the republicans will continue their drop in polls. Cruz is too dense to even understand the fact his ultra right zealot driven rhetoric is destroying him and his party. Texas included!
"It's great to be back home -- I've spent the past month in Washington, D.C., and it is great to be back in America!"
hear the drones buzzing?
Someone ask Ted Cruz what country he thinks Washington DC is in.
Since he's from Texas, there's a good chance he won't know.
Remember when Romney and Ryan were the GOP's Great White Hopes? Anybody even mention historical footnote Romney lately?
Since the Republican party establishment lacks the moral courage and backbone to stand up to a mere freshman senator, and Cruz's ignorant, gerrymandered Texas district threats the self-serving jerk like a hero, it comes down to Democratic voter turnout in 2014 to try to take back the House from the baggy political terrorists and anarchists and for the business community that fund the baggies and keep them going though they are only 20% of the GOP and about 10% of the overall electorate.
Cruz and his ilk are not interested in governing, in crafting job-creating legislation, they were elected to tear down, obstruct and block anything that Pres. Obama and Democrats propose. They do not create, they destroy, hurt economic and job growth while costing taxpayers money as they did with their earlier 2011 extortionist tactics that dropped the DOW 2,500 points costing investors trillions. Notice that they were not upset by their shutdown or its economic costs and that 144 House GOP voted for a catastrophic US credit default rather than compromise and in fact Lee, Cruz, Paul, et al stupidly downplayed the potential damage of a default.
Just a random thought, imagine if Chris Christie publically endorsed Ted Cruz for President? There would be a gentle rain of brain matter across the country for days afterwards. Pop, pop, boom... patter, patter... splat.
Poor Ted. Not feeling very welcome in DC, are you?
Happens when you waltz in and take a dump on the carpet in front of everyone.
If you don't like Washington so much, why did you work to get a job there except to feed your immense ego. If you want to resign, I doubt that anyone in the Senate would be upset except your BFF Mike Lee.
Note to Ted: Nobody was ever nominated to run for President, let alone won the general election, by pandering to just the dumbest constituents in their home state.
He's happy to be back home, in America … in the state that's always talking about seceding? From America?
Shut up, Rafael.
Which America is that Ted? One where a carpet bagging Politician can shut down the government and cost 700,000 jobs, just to boost his visibility and fundraising?
Is that what's wrong with me? Too educated, no ammo, and live close to the Pacific Ocean? We've got a lot of ripe tomatoes for Teddly if he ever dares to visit here.
So he's channeling Sarah Palin's stupid real Americans schtick. Not too original, Eduardo.
I wish I could be a real American, but I live on the west coast, don't own a gun and have an education.
@ThomasHall We the People need to remember this next year when we go to the polls. Time to throw the bums out....again.
@ThomasHall "it comes down to Democratic voter turnout in 2014"
there'll be no obamaphones in 2014
@Sparrow55 To be fair, ol' Rafael is also pandering to the dumbest constituents in Iowa. Not that that's gonna help him at all. But I will enjoy seeing him get stomped.
@Sue_N "...in the state that's always talking about seceding? From America?"
If at first you don't secede...?
@Hollywooddeed It's sad when you think about it, but the caricature much of the world has of a typical American is an uneducated gun-toting Texan.
Cuba maybe - not Canada.
@shepherdwong, Ftw. That was good.
