Just hours after CNN announced the cancellation of a documentary based on Hillary Clinton, NBC said it was also scrapping a four-hour special based on the former Secretary of State and possible 2016 presidential candidate.

“After reviewing and prioritizing our slate of movie/mini-series development, we’ve decided that we will no longer continue developing the Hillary Clinton mini-series,” the network said in statement Monday.

Written and directed by Oscar nominee and Frozen River’s Courtney Hunt, the miniseries, along with CNN’s envisioned documentary, came under fire from the Republican National Committee, which said the projects amounted to media bias, and threatened not to let networks that air such projects also host GOP presidential debates.

Let's see, the GOP threatens the NFL for possibly signing a contract to do ads for the ACA.  The GOP threatens CNN and NBC with not allowing them to broadcast debates of the Krazy Klown Parade debates (actually I think they could find much better use of their air time then putting up with the side show that is the GOP)..  And the House threatens to shut down the government if they don't get their way that they can't win at the election box.  Sounds like this is building up to a RICO issue with a history of extortion.  May be the Justice Department needs to add this to their list.

Very convenient to cancel these projects while the winger rage is focused on the government shutdown. Let the conspiracies begin!

Hey the republicans rolled the dice "Please produce these so we can refuse you the chance to broadcast our debates thus minimizing the damage those freak show always cause" and lost.

Oh well.
