BEHOLD......THE LUO TRIBESMAN......AND KENYAN DICTATOR......SPENDING 100 PLUS MILLION US TAXFREE DOLLARS IN HIS AFRICAN TRIP.......
I'd like to note that in photo no. 5, the Union Building is in Pretoria, which is the administrative capital of the Republic of South Africa. Sandton is actually a suburb of Johannesburg, which is an hour's drive south of Pretoria.
Maybe since he's returning home, HE'LL STAY. Good riddance. He's not a citizen of this country anyway.
Ironic, isn't it, that an American president goes to South Africa to pay homage to Nelson Mandela when it was the CIA Officer Donald C. Rickard who tipped off the South African Special Branch that Mandela would be disguised as a chauffeur in a car headed for Durban in 1962. That in turn led to Mandela being placed in prison for 28 years...because the US thought him a communist.
The US media didn't cover his trip to Ireland much...(or as Michelle calls its, "back home,"
Obama the drone killer - every time I see him I can not but to think what a HUGE disappointment he has been as president. One can only draw the conclusion that the american voter can chose to elect a conservative candidate or a conservative candidate. Democracy gone - only the memory is left....
Advance team arrives a month ahead and scopes out all places he will visit and all routes he will take, transporting the equipment, staff, vehicles, trauma physicians, having hospital ship off nearest coast, Marine 1 on standby, and all the animals borrowed from Busch Gardens so he can get close to a nice giraffe, total estimated costs; $5M. I'm not saying prior presidents have not taken useless junkets for PR purposes but this stuff just makes good fodder. Quite frankly I really don't care about Obama's comings and goings. Its the queen of mean we need to nail to the floor. Flying around in one of two Boeing 747's that bothers me the most. It goes back to Kissinger flying down to Chile to give millions in US cash to topple the legitimate government and then installing puppet leader Pinochet. Not saying that the Butcher of Mena has done that because she doesn't need to fly to South America since she set up the drug routes used by aircraft that transport drugs. Do you think god miracled that ability to drug lords and kingpins? Do you think some drug lord just decided one day to stuff cocaine into fuel tanks and radar/avionics compartments to deliver drugs to the Hope Arkansas region? No, a company funded by Hillary's Whitewater involvement made it possible for those routes. That bothers me more than Obama's useless junkets to his diasporatic homeland.
1) Obama's visit to Africa will result in no tangible business deals for U.S. corporations.
2) African officials will only pay Obama's speeches lip service.
3) Obama's visit will be a mere after-thought in a week.
4) Obama will not be successful in "feeding Africa" (that's a promise he actually made).
5) China will continue to out-pace the U.S. in African investment.
6) This will go down as yet another instance of Obama exhibiting, "all talk, and no substance."
To go there as a re elected prez will be even more cause for pride for the Africans, completely understandably, than the first time he visited Africa as u.s. prez in 2009. It is too bad Kenya's political situation prevented him from visiting the land of his ancestors. Always nice to get in touch with that now and then.
@valentine.godoflove Still with the caps and stupidity I see.
@mrbomb13 Well said. This is just one more distraction to all of Obama's scandals as president.
