There are some things upon which everyone can agree. Last night at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center, liberal political strategist Donna Brazile and Karl Rove, former advisor to President George W. Bush, took a twirl in support of Points of Light’s mission to help people find meaningful opportunities to volunteer for the country. “Acts of service can indeed cross boundaries, bring together the most unlikely allies, and build stronger communities,” said Michelle Nunn, CEO of Points of Light, the largest organization in the world dedicated to volunteer service.
