Taken to its illogical conclusion, the People should be more concerned with this cost-efficient "threat display" more than (1) the $4 trillion+ cost of the Iraq war over illusory WMDs that UN Sanctioned Saddam obviously never had and (2) the "missing" billions purportedly "lost" via Iraq's (ahem) "reconstruction".

Do they get bonus miles on their frequent flyer plan?

It's a huge amount of money, but war is more expensive.  If flying these as a symbol of American power helps us keep the North Koreans from starting a war, it's money well spent.

I could buy my house about one and a quarter times or fly for an hour. As long as the peanuts aren't stale I'm there.

It wasn't reported widely but the Stealths were kept in orbit over the base while the Missouri State Police drove along underneath checking for illegal aliens with a flashlight.
