Try to get into a presidential speech without a frisk, Ob. I dare you!
Wouldn't mind it at all. I am not of the class of people who aggressively seek grievances to be outraged over
BTW - do anyone remember the outrage on the right over TSA? This is what happens to you when you hate something. No core. No integrity. It's not based on common sense, reason or even a firm principled stand on ideological grounds. Just pure hate. It's the herd and horde mentality. Some pundit on the right starts bleating and suddenly the idiot locust keeps screaming the same stupid thing over and over. Of course since the idiot locust doesn't stand for anything it's not hard for them to change direction at other times. It's not about the principles anyways. Only the tribe mentality and the things they fear.
Welcome to high school. McCain says he's opposing Hagel because Hagel was mean to Bush.
When does the GOP officially change its initials to WTF?
Alex, a correction on your asteroid comment:
The article states at the end that the asteroid "will traverse a patch of sky about twice the diameter of the full moon every minute".
This needs to be pointed out clearly as people like paulejb will become frightened and might barricade themselves in a cardboard box down by the river.
"Rahm Emanuel Toying With 2016 Presidential Run, Sources Say"
He will do for the nation what he did for Chicago. Turn it over to the gangbangers.
paulejb has nothing left between the legs. He's made so many leaps over the pointy pickets that the family jewels, together with his senses, got snagged off a loooooooong time ago.
@MrObvious Whatever you're for they're against. That's not a political ideology. It's just mindless hate.
Sounds like GOP - not because of any real reasons - just a bunch of juvenile teen age shit. And these are legislators, not your average high schooler.
Chuck Hagel's problem is that he is as dumb as a box of rocks. I doubt that he could even find the Pentagon if confirmed.
It could be your mothership disguised as an asteroid, 53.
Great. We got your "unreported race war" rhetoric combined with your "Chicago is more dangerous than Afghanistan" nonsense.
We get it paulie. You don't like Chicago. You don't like minorities, and you don't like anyone to the left of Jesse Helms.
It's an old song, paulie. Got anything new?
@paulejb Following your logic Romney would have made the nation one giant Mormon Temple, while Palin would have made it a wasteland of lying quitters.
So before Rahm there was no gun violence in Chicago and there is none anywhere else?
You sure are a hysterical one. I tell you that.
Rights are selective - first amendment good when you want to call someone skin tone related stuff or force media to repeat all the idiotic phobias that is not blocked by some kind of shame impulse. First amendment bad if it has to be tempered by common sense. 2nd amendment good. Especially used to enforce their first amendment rights to be hysterical trolls. Democracy is only good when they win, it's bad when the lose. And since they're always right the 2nd amendment gives them the right to force their reality on others.
All other rights are purely based on a loose interpretation of phobias and arcane biological moral nonsense. Often a corny sense of religions morality based on the tiniest sliver of actual religious text. God works in mysterious ways anyways.
paulejbs problem is the fact that he doesn't realize how bad this makes GOP look. Not that I don't mind it or anything - it means that I don't have to waste my money supporting local and national candidates; but seriously - don't you want people to take your political movement serious?
What am I saying; you think Sarah Palin is your movements intellectual titan.
You really can pee around corners, huh?
Not on this scale even when Al Capone was in charge.
@MrObvious @MementoMori Remember how we were all traitors for criticizing Dubya, Rummy and the Iraq invasion? Remember how it was sedition to oppose a wartime president? Can you imagine if a liberal had carried a gun anywhere near where Bush was appearing? If we had demanded proof that he was an American citizen?
Now all of that is perfectly okay. That's how they prove their "patriotism" to each other. It's what happens when your only core belief is power.
Your average high schooler is a genius compared to some of the lumps of rock that make up the Democrat caucus.
Oh I know there are stupid dem politicians. I've had plenty of things to say about them. But it's ironic that the best thing you can do to defend GOPers is by finding a stupid dem.
Personally I would feel great shame in defending any type of stupidity.
But then I'm not really married to a tribe the way you are. You still don't get it.
...and given the overuse of a certain word against your arguments, for the record I did say "seismic shift."
So Paulie, if BO is so baaad to Israel how come their voters made a seismic shift away from the right in their last election? Are they low-information voters as well?
@MrObvious @Sue_N @paulejb Exactly. We've criticized Obama and other Dems countless times here. We were talking about the drone policy long before the righties knew it was a thing. We've even called out other posters when they've gone over the line. We're not tribalists.
What I believe doesn't depend on who's in office or which party I support. But with pauley, it's all about party. The GOPers can do no wrong, Dems can do no right. He's incapable of intellectual honesty. So he's forced to become a human sewer, spewing sh*t everywhere.
@MrObvious @paulejb @Sue_N You're being way too optimistic, Mr. O. Just like the GOP, Pauley will ride the idiot barrel all the way over the falls. They can't change. They've got 30 years and hundreds of millions of dollars invested in ignorance, paranoia and pointless rage. To get a clue now would be to admit they've been wrong, and they just can't do that. They're losing on every front, but they're too far gone to change strategies.
They've doomed themselves to irrelevance and oblivion.
You've been yammering about just how horrible Obama have been to Israel and such and I think you sell what you know about their concerns show based on what you think Bibi is upset about. Heres a clue for you - look at the fact that Obama got reelected and look at the last election in Israel. You're so clueless about what's going on that sooner or later you're going to have to re-examine your need to be spoon-fed the stupid shit you hear from pundits and Fox.
No one can be so constantly wrong like you are politically without sooner or later get a clue.
Me too. The two times I visited his blog BS thing it was dead. If he's such a pillar of the conservative core he sure doesn't attract any attention. Not even among the rest of the rabid puddle he swim in.
In a way this is perfect for him. At a place like redstate he'd have to compete with a large pool of similar stupid and those are 'smarter' conservatives and he'd just drown in the noise.
Here he can 'stand out' as one of the few 'brave' even if it makes the conservative base look like they're not house broken.
It's tedious, but it's also a perfect illustration of what that kind of political inbreeding leads too. And no fancy french words can cloak the vapid core of his bombthrowing message.
Looks like paulejb hit bottom and bounced twice.
You will have to back that up to retain even a shred of credibility, Ob.
Ditto - you can't prove your swill with someone elses rightwing hysteria. You use facts.
Until you start using facts I will simply truncate what I already know to be facts into simple words for you. It's not like you give a shit even when I prove you wrong with links and such - you simply change the subject.
You're not really into the whole honesty thingy. Trolls are not very good at that sorta thing.
I'll go with "Ob", thank you.
