Speaking of rich. The Paul's tak ethe prize.

I'm Rich! I'm Rich!:

I'm an elitist now! A little OT, but if the sequester hits us, they're talking about giving us a day off without pay every 2-3 weeks. I have the most seniority. I run a shift. I'm deemed "essential". It would be voluntary on my part IF I agreed to take a day off without pay and rotate with some of the other guys to spread out the financial hit. LOL. They're screwed. I told them that they could take the hit themselves for voting for candidates that are burning us. I'm not giving up a dime.
The way I look at it, votes have consequences. If they want to vote for the Baggers, they can pay for it. The guy with the next most seniority was going to join in the rotation, but after I said I wouldn't, he's probably not going to either. He voted for Obama too. We talked about it and now he's thinking that they cut their own throats so they should bear the brunt.

The stupidity of republicans is simply boundless:
"As Republican leaders insist that the debate over gun violence in America should also address the role of violent entertainment, the latest findings from Democratic-leaningPublic Policy Polling released Thursday showed that the vast majority of GOP voters nationwide believe video games are a bigger threat than guns.
Given the choice between the two, 67 percent of Republican voters
said violent video games represent a bigger threat to safety than guns.
Fourteen percent said guns are the bigger safety threat. "
Simply ridiculous.
@Diecash1 Yes because the rest of the civilized world doesn't have access to the same video games. In fact last time I checked many of them are made in Japan, which has a fraction of the gun violence we do.
@mantisdragon91 @Diecash1 My favorite example is the UK. Same popular movies, same popular video games, same popular music.
The UK had 14 Firearm-related murders last year; the US, with a population only 5 times that of the UK, had 9,369.
It truly is; because IF a violent video gamer decides to go loco, he'd use available guns to do so. I'm not saying that video games make people violent, I'm just saying that according to their 'logic' the end instrument is still the very thing they want as free and as available as possible.
Each day, 3 women die because of domestic violence

Just another reminder that Marco Rubio voted against the renewal of The Violence Against Women Act. There is no 'New GOP", it's the same crap in a different package.
Paule is against the Violence Against Women Act due to considerations and support it offers to the LGBT community. He's said as much himself.
@paulejb @DonQuixotic @MementoMori
That's why 'wingers don't understand rights - to 'wingers it's not that everyone deserve rights, it's that some according to their moral phobias deserve them.
@MementoMori @paulejb @DonQuixotic Usually some one that scared of homosexuals is repressing some latent desires.
@paulejb @DonQuixotic @MementoMori Is oppressing homosexuals more important than protecting women?
Or are you just using your dislike of homosexuals to disguise your misogyny?
@paulejb @DonQuixotic @MementoMori
Are they undeserving of violence protection in your eyes?
1. Give all women a gun and no training at birth
2. Are they really the right kind of skin tone of women?
@outsider2011 @MrObvious @MementoMori
That's why 'wingers always cut themselves on Occams razor.
"Republicans should explain — message No. 1 — that in the fiscal-cliff deal the president already got major tax hikes..."
No, no, Charley -- Republicans don't get to claim (to Norquist) that they didn't raise taxes and then tell Obama that they agreed to a "major tax hike".
I see that paulejb is pissing all over the place again, generalizing about the imaginary hive in his head, all capping and all bolding. Combine them both and he's just another nut screaming int he corner of the park.
Of course now paulejb is on the Brennan thing. Ironically LIBERALS asked the tough question about our drone policies. and LIBERALS seems upset about the vague authority given to our current white house. Just as LIBERALS are upset about torture and find it ironic that when the Democrats were in opposition to Bush then transparency of our torture program was a must, but they're now entirely fine with the non existent justification of imminent threat through drone strikes.
Note that GOPers aren't. They're fine with vague reasoning for blowing citizens up. Just as they're fine with vague reasoning for torturing people.
So what paulejb is upset about is the pretense that Obama = hive agree. When it's quite the opposite. Although paulejb does not object to drone strikes and torture. And he wholly agree with the might is right theory that GOP seems to believe is fine.
So I wonder who really is the hive? Of course Mr Oblivious (paulejb) is completely unaware of the projective force of the mirror he's staring into.
It's a community service. Think of the puppies and stuff we save by having him here. He believes he's winning. I just wished he pulled his pants up since the monkey act of drinking his own urine is disturbing.
The terrorist dilemma: Waterboarding? Drone strike? What's a good jihadist to do?
Paul is:
1) A loon that to a certain extent believes the drivel he posts
2) Easily manipulated and impressionable, and eager to get his "news" from things like pjmedia and breitbart
3) A troll that only wants to have meaningless arguments and seeks to get a rise out of people due to what we can only assume is his extreme insecurity issues and possibly had an abused past (as most habitual internet trolls typically do)
There's no reason to take him seriously and it can be pretty fun to jab at him. I can't imagine how insufferable and miserable he must be offline. If being a part of "the hive" means we're well adjusted normal people that can form rational and coherent arguments, then sure I'm glad to be part of the hive. We're the busy and efficient worker bees, whereas Paul is the dung beetle that spend his days rolling a ball of shit to see how big he can make it.
@DonQuixotic @MrObvious I think Paule may actually be employed by the Democratic party since his posts invariably seem to cast Republicans in the worst light possible.
@DonQuixotic @mantisdragon91 @MrObvious
We might have found a cure to the 4+ hour Viagra erection. If we could just bottle his stupid we'd make a fortune on this 'downer' pill.
Call it paulandemonium
@mantisdragon91 @DonQuixotic @MrObvious
He's certainly accomplishing little beyond harming the GOP's image.
Anyone that takes paulejb seriously is either a well meaning family member or someone that just walked in from the wilderness hiding in the forest from the evil gubmint.
Other then those ( his family members do know right from wrong but they don't want to get on Damions wrong side - he might hurt stuffed animals) the rest of us is of the point and giggle variety. It's kind of telling that other rightwingers outside 'you moron alert' Kevin only sporadically shows up.
Paulejb didn't get the meme yet; the world moved on. Crazy ain't cute anymore.
This is fun guys! I haven't seen Paulie so soundly trounced in a long time; and the best part is, he's providing the fodder!!
Damn, i didn't realize how much i missed the MMR's.
"I haven't seen Paulie so soundly trounced in a long time"
You weren't here yesterday? Or the day before? Or the...
no, honestly - i was away on a trip.
I saw the first MMR the morning i left, and just came back yesterday.
So it's kind of brand new all over again.
paulejb is not some kind of rocket scientist. He can declare victory all he wants but he leave running around like a decapitated chicken every time. He's a legend in his own mind
.
"California's state Senate Democrats roll out big gun control package"
Left wing totalitarians waste no time in seizing weapons of law abiding citizens.
@paulejb "all guns would be registered "
Which 90% of the population support (see link below).
You say "popular", paulie says 'totalitarian". To-may-toe, to-mah-toe, right?
I'm tired - I just flubbed so much in my post that it reads like something paulejb would trot out but with brevity. I ain't fixing it until we have an edit function. Fark it.
@MrObvious Correction there are more dogs, cats and barnyard animals with more common sense than Paule and people like him.
So you call a majority of the people who want to have unrestricted access to guns nazis because you don't like the fact that there are more people then common sense then people such as yourself?
@paulejb @MementoMori You mean that right wing party who's propaganda minister Karl Rove modeled himself after?
@paulejb @MementoMori Ladies and gentlemen, paulie's just called 90% of Americans "Nazis".
Any resemblance between paulie and a someone making a rational argument purely coincidental.
