When Letterman started talking to Christie about his size, the Governor pulled out a doughnut from his pocket and took a bite. “I didn’t know this was going to be this long,” he joked, wiping his mouth.

I'd never vote for Christie, but there are some things I like about him. Accepting yourself for who you are is one of them. People can't be comfortable around you unless you're comfortable with yourself.

I think it's funny. Christie is heavy. I'm thin. I took relentless ribbing (good natured and not) when I was young. I usually came back with some put down that made the other kids back off like "I can gain weight, you can't get any smarter".
