Radio talk show host and conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh speaks at an event on May 3, 2007 in Novi, Michigan.

“What you are doing is admirable and noteworthy. You are recognizing reality.”

WHO CARES what Rush thinks?  Waste of energy space  and time!  I'm actually wasting MY TIME responding to this - - who cares what he thinks?

Rush is about as familiar with reality as he is with a gym.

I already commented on the immigration thread before seeing this fat, stupid, drug addled Limbaugh quote.  Go read my post there.  I rest my case with this.

So Rush uses the word "illegals," and Sen. Rubio (R-Himself) doesn't correct him? Oh, yeah, this party's well on its way to winning over Hispanics.

@Sue_N Why would Rubio correct him? Cubans aren't "illegals". Hispanics are.

@Paul,nnto @Sue_N Well that article sufficiently p****d me.  To say nothing of Haitian refugees, who apparently are all wetfoots.

NJ's Menendez buys the Kool-Aid the Castro-era Cubans have been pushing here for over fifty years.  It is way way past time for us to open up to Cuba.  Capitalism beats whatever's left of that dictatorship hands down yet we won't as a nation even breach the subject for fear of upsetting what I call Castro-Americans--not Hispanics, but Cubans who have perpetuated the communist myth that died over two decades ago

I'm guessing this is why Marco Polo is so "popular"--'cause he's on the wrong end of just about every other issue.

Mr. President?  Don't let those Hispanic votes go to complete waste.

I agree with Rush. A TPer recognizing reality would be noteworthy.

Nothing will  be done until the borders are fully secure. That's what Rubio said.

We'll see what Mr. Rubio is made of. Hold to that and you will be trusted.

Otherwise you're just another run of the mill politician.

That's all. Simple. Conservative logic. Never mind, you libtards will never understand it.

Limbaugh's transcript from his discussion with Rubio and one on the same topic from yesterday, if you're up to reading them.

Funny how Limbaugh's trying to straddle the fence on this issue, and of course, the whole thing is Obama's fault.

@grape_crush That was some great reading.  Part of me is going to miss that fat, lying hypocrite when the inevitable overdose (whether it be pills or sandwiches) takes him from us.

@grape_crush Please don't use "Limbaugh" and "straddle" in the same sentence again, grape.  ಠ_ಠ

By knowing the sentence before was "Welcome to EIB, and paying tribute to my vast power.", the quote makes much more sense.

Rush wouldn't recognize reality if it bit him in his arse.  But it would be funny.

Rubio (R-Hurricane Central) voted AGAINST the Hurricane Sandy relief bill.

Any presumption regarding Rubio as a representative of some new, saner version of the GOP is premature.

Voting against hurricane relief money will earn him millions of votes in Florida.

@sacredh Yeh.  I'd like to hear his explanation for voting Sandy relief down.  Especially after we in FL get hit a time or two.
