UPDATE: If you’ve got six minutes, check out this fascinating debate between Sen. Kerry and Sen. Rand Paul:
Well now I understand where Rand Paul's left field WTF question from yesterday came from. He was setting himself up for today.
That said, I like the fact that Rand Paul asked that question. I disagree with him, I think he was too hostile and too judgmental, but those are good questions to ask.
If Johnson & McCain want to continue to act like asses, let them. Republicans have little else to offer. The real battleground has shifted to State legislatures where Republicans will seek to win through gerrymandering.
As I observed after the mid-terms, BHO was never luckier than to have a dope like Issa on his tail.
I feel the same way now that the republicans have such leading lights as Paul and Johnson carrying the charge.
@gysgt213 You know, I don't care that Beyonce lip-synched. We have a bitch of a national anthem that is botched more often than it's gotten right, she had to sing it in 30 degree weather before a million people, with every YouTuber in the world just waiting for her to get it wrong … Hell, yeah, I'd lip synch that puppy.
I propose making America the Beautiful and God Bless America alternate nathional anthems. At least they have rhythm, are lyrical and don't mention war much, if at all.
Worthless congress critters that don't like the whole legislation thingy usually focus on problems, not solutions. Maybe if he screams loud enough someone will reelect him. Heaven forbid they'd look for a solution in all this. Work is hard.
@nflfoghorn And that name is "idiot."
What I really liked was that he keeps yammering on about "why don't we know what happened?" but when Kerry asked, "Were you at that meeting" where people explained what happened, Johnson said no. So clearly he doesn't want to know all that badly.
