Most of the AMOC guys killed themselfs in the ende.

Imagine they had no guns, but only knives, axes or something like that.

I think the wouldnt had...

Because killing yourself with a knive needs more guts than just pulling the trigger.

Think of it.

Chicago has some of the toughest gun control laws in the nation.  So, I'm trying to figure out where the liberal argument for gun control fits with this number: 50.  Gun control laws are what liberals institute after they've done all they can to destroy families and to eradicate personal responsibility from the values of society.

A good argument for stricter gun controls, and why many black Americans support such efforts.

@53_3 Yeah i am sure all those shootings where with registered firearms. Not one law will help any of this carnage .

The wages of liberalism is death.

Chicago is the laboratory of liberalism gone wild. It is not a coincidence that Barack Obama is a creature of Chicago politics.

@paulejb Kids murdered.  Can you get the message Paule?   It's not two border patrol guys - it's 50 kids.  It's not CIA agents in an outpost in Africa that couldn't be covered because the money's not there.  It kids.  It's 4 year olds.  Could you not drum up just a little outrage that you spent on a border patrol guy?  And ignore sacredh - we all know Jesus couldn't possible be a liberal - just ask Pat Robertson.  He's always been for the money lenders and the stone throwers.

He doesn't care; it's just a political opportunity.

It's disgusting.

@jmac @outsider2011 @paulejb His idiocy serves a purpose. To educate the uninformed what the republican party stands for, in all its gory detail.

By the way, when are the must reads coming back.

@outsider2011 @jmac @paulejb He completely ruins the blogs by his domination - but that's Time's problem.  When he has a slew of posts at the top - I just move on.

Here is an article that shows how big the problem of mental illness is among teenage Americans:

Since each of the shooters in the three most recent mass shootings was in his early 20s, perhaps this is a starting point for changing the system.

@ViableOp Fox, the NRA and conservatives would all like to change the subject and make it about mental illness.  If anyone was mentally ill in the shooting in Connecticut, it was the mother who taught her kid to shoot to teach him responsibility.   She's responsible for letting a child with problems learn to shoot and for leaving him two days with guns in the house.  She's the one that was mentally ill.     The bottom line is that she had no business owning a semi-automatic.  None.    No American has a reason for owning a military assault weapon.  You fight government tyranny through your State.

@jmac @ViableOp -- "You fight government tyranny through your State."  Can you explain this?  It doesn't seem to match American political reality post-1865.

@Chosun1 @jmac @ViableOp Denying the Second Amendment?  Finally figuring out it's about State's rights?  It's about time.   I would agree that the Second Amendment was made moot by the Civil War, but that doesn't change the fact that we still have the Second Amendment and the  Courts still use it to rule on gun cases - as in the conservative court in Heller clearly explaining they would let you have a pistol in your home to protect yourself - and that's all.
