Romnesia: The Comedic Stylings of Barack Obama

The latest addition to President Obama’s stump speech, debuted Friday in Virginia, is a running schtick about Romney’s Etch-a-Sketching ways. The coinage Romnesia–a combination of Romney and amnesia–and the Jeff Foxworthyian delivery are pretty funny, even if the critique that Romney is simultaneously an unflinching ideologue and a fair-weather flip-flopper doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Stump speeches aren’t the kind of stuff that really affect elections, but give this one a watch. Two weeks ago at the first debate, Obama looked like a sleepy hostage. Now he’s having fun.

The unmaking of a post modern president

BO will go down as a modern American tragedy - Scottishrocket comment below is simplistic but right. I borrow the famous quotes from Olivier Cromwell:

“You have sat too long for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!”

@scottishrocket

How is he duping anyone.

On the other hand, Romney seems to be selling a lot snake oil.  If you're middle class, you heard him, your taxes are going UP.  He's going to limit deductions to $25,000.
