As I predicted: if Obama even showed-up with half a fight, Romney would make his own gaffes just from hubris.
Romney just undid himself really.

CNN just liveblogged that their insta poll gave the debate to Obama, 46 to 39 and right away declared the meme of the night; basically a draw for the horse race.
Rightie spinners is predictably making this all about Libya. Ignoring everything before and after the event. It must be pretty damning for Romney that an entire debate is boiled down to a talking point where righties are using a tragedy to make political hay.
This election is going to be about the economy and jobs, that's why GOP won in 2010. And they're trying to obfuscate it but I'm pretty sure people are focused on their wallet.
And Romney did a TERRIBLE job giving us a clear vision for the economy going forward. Most of it was anti-Obama.
He also did a pretty bad job on the Libya question- the focus on Obama not calling it a terrorist act (and the explicit lie about the President's stance which was called out by the moderator) was not a winner for him.
I thought Romney was fantastic, btw. Unlike Obama who much of the time sounded like the Charlie Brown teacher when he spoke. "Waa Waa Waaaaa Waa."
And btw, I voted for him.
Fantastic how? When he failed to provide any details of his tax plan and shifted the topic from Assault Guns to Marriage. Or how he said he is all in favor of equal rights for women and wants to make sure they have plenty of time to go home and cook dinner?
Gee whiz, another drone? Three comments and suddenly an expert? Hope it's not one of our regulars taking on another personna.
Kudos to the Twitter guys! TOTALLY entertaining and witty during the debate. I toggled back and forth between here and debate. Also seemed straight down the middle!

Obama comes across as even more boring than Romney, which is amazing when you think about it.
"Obama is a huge bore." Now there's a great GOP attack line. Just make sure that whoever says it has the proper up-turned nose angle, and is either wearing a monocle or holding opera glasses. I envision Mittens saying it while riding Rafalca inside of his in-home car elevator. The proles will eat it up!
And Mittens is a tremendous liar. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, whats your point?
I don't look for the president for entertainment and comedy.
I don't grade presidents on how much they bore me; only if they do right by all citizens.
Maybe you like Romneys flip flopping clown act of no ideas and blame Obama, personally I find that nonsensical.
Subbing for sacred, tonight (since he appears to be AWOL), I'd agree that, Yes, "Binders full of Women" are no big deal. And, once you take the staples out of their navels, they're much easier to...review...
