"The Illegal-Donor Loophole"

"This makes it all the more surprising that the Obama campaign does not use a standard security tool, the card verification value (CVV) system—the three- or four-digit number often imprinted on the back of a credit card, whose purpose is to verify that the person executing the purchase (or, in this case, donation) physically possesses the card. The Romney campaign, by contrast, does use the CVV—as has almost every other candidate who has run for president in recent years, from Hillary Clinton in 2008 to Ron Paul this year. (The Obama campaign says it doesn’t use the CVV because it can be an inhibiting factor for some small donors.) Interestingly, the Obama campaign’s online store requires the CVV to purchase items like hats or hoodies (the campaign points out that its merchandise vendor requires the tool)."

Chicanery is afoot with the most lawless campaign outfit since CREEP in the Milhouse years.

Barry's come along way...he is so honest, and transparent, not at all like he was in 2008.  You can trust everything that his administration says:  Just don't compare it to facts, or reality, or their own contradictions.

His lies and deceptions just grow in scope.  The biggest charlatan ever elected.

Romney gives a foreign policy speech that could have been written by Big Bird.

The biggest whopper is that Pres. Obama hasn't signed any trade agreements.

He's signed three.

rokinsteve,

All negotiated under George W Bush. They are Bush's fault.

Do you just make stuff up, Mori? There were 505 murders in ChiTown already this year and it's only October.

People like Mori have to cherry pick their statistics in order for them to think they have any credibility at all.

Ohiolib,

"Paulie doesn't understand history, liberalism vs conservatism, the CRA of '64,"

===============================

One thing I know for sure, lib, is that there would have been no CRA of 64 without Republican votes.

 By party

The original House version:[16]

Democratic Party: 152–96   (61–39%)Republican Party: 138–34   (80–20%)

Cloture in the Senate:[17]

Democratic Party: 44–23   (66–34%)Republican Party: 27–6   (82–18%)

The Senate version:[16]

Democratic Party: 46–21   (69–31%)Republican Party: 27–6   (82–18%)

The Senate version, voted on by the House:[16]

Democratic Party: 153–91   (63–37%)Republican Party: 136–35   (80–20%)

Notice the percentages of Democrats and Republicans voting in favor of the CRA.

MomentoMori

The Democratic Party of the South, pre-CRA, was the conservative party. Guys like Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond and George Wallace.

That's why paulie has to use the D's and R's, because if he used 'conservative' and 'liberal' he'd have to hang his head in shame.

Or was George Wallace a 'liberal', paulie?

paulejb
paulejb

MomentoMori,

Hardly conservative, Mori. They were segregationist liberals.

"segregationist liberals"?  It is obvious Paulie that you have never been to or ever talked to anyone from the South or you would know how utterly stupid that line was!

'Sen. Obama says early in the speechthat he'd been asked if the Bush administration delayed help for New Orleans because most of its residents were black. "I say, 'Well, naw, this administration was colorblind in its incompetence.'" '

=======================================

Then as usual, you would be wrong.

"In the speech, Obama lied about America to portray the nation as irredeemably racist. Channeling Kayne West, Obama said the government doesn't "care about" black people in New Orleans. This was based on his assertion that New York City received more help from the federal government after 9/11, and Florida got more after Hurricane Andrew. Unlike blacks in New Orleans, he said, those victims were considered "part of the American family." Obama was a sitting senator when he spouted this nonsense. He had to know that months earlier, $100 billion in federal disaster relief had been sent to the Gulf states hit by Katrina -- or five times more than the disaster relief funds sent to New York after 9/11."

http://www.anncoulter.com/

That makes Barack Hussein Obama either the biggest liar ever or the most clueless US Senator that ever lived. What's your guess, OS?

Yes, his new ideas conflict with his old ideas which he has been talking about for the last 6 months.  The man is still a liar and as flip-flopper.  I still hold that he will pull a "palin" and not serve out even a single term, if elected, because it is more work than he is used to.  And all of the work is in a "fishbowl" with TV cameras and for a private person who feels he is above public scrutiny, this will not be a good life.  The press will question every decision and he won't even take questions at his own press conferences.  Find another candidate.

BTW-in teh last debate, he was a MASSACHUSETTS LIBERAL, FULLY ACKNOWLEDGING HIS HEALTHCARE PLAN WITH A TAX.

This from Forbes Magazine:

Obama administration advisor Steve Rattner, “Beyond ObamaCare” (9/16/2012). Rattner stated up front, “We need death panels.”

Rattner advocated restricting medical spending on the elderly,

especially on patients in their last year of life, because such spending

“consumes more than a quarter of the [Medicare] program’s budget.”

One big problem with Rattner’s approach is that we often can’t know what

will be a patient’s final year of life until after they’ve died.

Do we really want the government deciding whether or not a doctor is allowed to save your grandmother’s life?

And i'll address them.

paulejb
paulejb

outsider2011,

Did America really not care about the people in New Orleans after Katrina because they were black or is that just race baiting BS from a race hustler?

Fun Fact: The Federal government spent more on relief for Katrina than on Hurricane Andrew and 9/11 combined.

nflfoghorn
nflfoghorn

Pff.  You think Paulie cares about the poor, elderly or the sick?

outsider2011
outsider2011

So, this relief happened right away, did it?

Bush didn't drag his feet (Or FEMA if we're being specific)?

Fun fact for you - Sen. Obama says early in the speech

that he'd been asked if the Bush administration delayed help for New

Orleans because most of its residents were black. "I say, 'Well, naw,

this administration was colorblind in its incompetence.'"

Here is further reading for you:

New Orleans was already one of the poorest metropolitan areas in the

United States in 2005, with the eighth-lowest median income ( $ 30,771 ) .

At 24.5 percent, Orleans Parish had the sixth-highest poverty rate among

U.S. counties.[3] The 2000 U.S. census

revealed that 27% of New Orleans households, amounting to approximately

120,000 people, were without private mobility. Despite these factors

preventing many people from being able to evacuate on their own, the

mandatory evacuation called on August 28 made no provisions to evacuate

homeless, low-income, or carless individuals or sick, nor the city's

elderly or infirm residents. Consequentially most of those stranded in

the city were the poor, the elderly, and the sick.

MomentoMori,

"You've posted an anecdotal report of two reporters being assaulted as 'proof' of an 'unreported race war'. That's 'racial arson', paulie."

They are only anecdotal because they go unreported in the media.

MomentoMori
MomentoMori

So you DO believe there's an 'unreported race war', paulie. Thanks for finally being honest about it.

And your response is a non-sequitor. An anecdote is not evidence of a trend, never mind a 'war', as you so inflammatorily keep claiming.

That's why you're the only 'racial arsonist' here, paulie. No one else is claiming there's a race war going on, but you.

There is absolutely no doubt about it, Mori. Where is the coverage of the blood bath in Chicago?

Here are the stats, even though I know you hate facts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C...

Yes, the rate is up this year, but still low compared to even a decade ago. Y'know, when Bush was President.

You're the only 'racial arsonist' here, paulie

That is hardly consistent with the real meaning of 'anecdotal':

Adjective:(of an account) Not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research.Characterized by or fond of telling anecdotes.

 "Pot, kettle, black."

==================================

Mori is just jealous that Besch never impersonated him.

MomentoMori
MomentoMori

What does that even mean?

Even your insults are pointless. Though it;s funny you had to take it out of context. Maybe people will forget why I was accusing you of "the pot calling the kettle black"

Here, I'll remind them: paulie said, "You do know that your schtick is getting old, don't you, Besch? Now it just seems malicious and bitter."

Whoever our pathological impersonator is, paulie thinks he's stealing paulie's thunder as "the most annoying poster on Swampland". God forbid anyone annoy everyone more than paulie does! That's why he's here after all.

That's why I called you a hypocrite paulie.

paulejb
