Nice pic with Biden and crying teenager. If only Biden was the action figure this boy so badly wants in his tough life. However, I say to the young man, it does not matter whose shoulder you cry on . Whatever candidate, the chances your life will be lifted from poverty and tough times are slim to none at the very best.
For a second I thought this was a backstage scene after the debate....Joe consoling Obama after his performance.
I think there's a good chance that you're a ringer too, but if you're not....your truth is a belief. It's not something that can be proven. It's faith and your faith isn't necessarily THE faith. Every religion believes that theirs is the one true faith. Many of us have rejected any faith other than the faith in our fellow man and ourselves.Your brand of in-your-face preaching is annoying at best and semi-nuts at worst. If you need to shout your faith, you're just trying to convince yourself, not us. I'm going to bed to read now. I sleep nude. I'm 6'3" and everything is proportional. Think about it.
.
I'm hairy too if that's your thing.
Sacred did you know you have a religion?
Postmodernists deny that there are aspects of reality that are
objective; that there are statements about reality that are objectively
true or false; that it is possible to have knowledge of such statements
(objective knowledge); that it is possible for human beings to know some
things with certainty; and that there are objective, or absolute, moral
values (ie moral truths, my comment). Reality, knowledge, and value are constructed by discourses;
hence they can vary with them.
There are not many "truths" there is only one truth. There are many lies.
For example, the cosmos does not exist in chaos, and in many truths. It is held together by order and natural laws. Another example 2+2=4.
What? 2+2=4?! Good God, you've disproved chaos theory! Quickly, someone fetch this man a Fields Medal!
I was surprised by the lack of attack by President Obama towards Mitt Romney. However, it is not very Presidential to call a man a liar. I find it interesting that the number one characteristic people want in a leader is honesty and people are willing to believe this Romney shape shifter is capable of leading. When the Iranian sanction story came over the crawl and now the jobs report, oh and don't forget the 429M in medicare fraud...I said the President is winning! One closing thought, Mitt reminded me of my previous CEO that was all hopped up with falsehoods when he came to our facility, 3 months later the company was sold. We got Bained!
Rockinsteve, Mark Lewison has a great book called "The Complete Beatles studio recordings. It lists every song they ever did, when they recorded which instruments were added when and who played. I used this book for making my corrections to the albums. Little known fact, Harrison didn't play on A Day in the Life.
.
The Beatles themselves called Lewison's book the "Bible" of their recordings.
OTS I do Oldies radio shows amp; I'm working on a Rock amp; Roll compilation from
1953 to 1963. I already made one on CD of the Beatles years. My friends love
me cuz they get copies of all my CD's like Wolfman Jack shows.
Rokinsteve, when the remasters came out I bought the box set and then did a project I'd been thinking of for years. I'm sure you know that the Beatles recorded singles and didn't put them on the albums they were working on because they didn't want to have people pay twice for the same songs. I included the singles on the albums they were working on. My Revolver has Rain and Paperback Writer. My Sgt. Pepper has Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever. The White Album has Hey Jude, the fast Revolution and Across the Universe. I think they improved all of them.
nfl, if I'm a fanatic about anything, it's the Beatles. I have thousands of dollars worth of Beatles memorobilia. I have a copy of the Let It Be movie. That's a rarity. A REAL rarity. I've also got a butcher block cover.
Between you and me I was raised Catholic and was too fast for my uncle and
a priest to catch me if you know what I mean. Penn State.
I abused adults when I was young. I was always big (over 6'2" when I was 12) and looked older. I cut lawns to get spending money and always tried to hit women living alone because they tipped better. One woman was somewhere around 30 and a boozer. We were having some fun one afternoon and she asked me where I went to college in the fall. I'd mentioned to her before that I was trying to earn enough money to last me through the year when classes started. I'd been cutting her grass for months. I asked her "College? I just turned 15 two months ago".
.
I know now that I was abused but it didn't seem to leave any scars. ; )
Awesome. Style versus substance!
This is not good news for Obama.*

No 10 -- Members of the Republican Symphony Orchestra, assembling for rehearsal, discover that the musical scores given them are blank. They proceed to improvise.
No 8 -- Obama, practicing for next debate in secluded location, works on facial expressions.
No 6 -- Mitt: Way to go, Tyler. You've had that stack stable for longer than my campaign promises.
No 5 -- I know you folks came to see the promised wardrobe malfunction, but you have to listen to me first.
No 3 -- That's okay, Barack. By the time I'm finished with Ryan the election will be in the bag. [What? -- That's not Obama? Who cares?]
No 1 -- Isn't that Rachel Maddow up there on that bridge? She seems to be preparing to jump from it.
