This is a very smart man. He can figure out a terrorist attack is done by terrorists. Lord. Are these people stupid or do they think that the news media is? I'm sure that they do.
Leon Panetta:
“The reason I think it pretty clearly was a terrorist attack is
because a group of terrorists obviously conducted that attack, on the
consulate and against our individuals,” he told a Pentagon briefing.
“What terrorists were involved I think still remains to be determined
by the investigation. But it clearly was a group of terrorists who
conducted that attack against that facility.”
So, after two weeks we get this asinine statement from the Obama administration. What's next? Has Joe Biden been passing out something funny?
paulejb,
Since the USA's government has not grown by 10 percentage points, what is your point.
We will forget that you're quoting a "socialist" country's economist.
Having to run far and wide these days aren't you?
"The Coming Recession"
"And a well regarded study by two Swedish economists found a negative correlation between government size and economic growth. Where government size grows by 10 percentage points, annual growth rates fall by 0.5 to 1 percent. In 2000, US federal spending was 18 percent of GDP. This year, it’s 24 percent."
"Drop in Ohio voter registration, especially in Dem strongholds, mirrors nationwide trend"
"Voter registration in the Buckeye State is down by 490,000 people from four years ago. Of that reduction, 44 percent is in Cleveland and surrounding Cuyahoga County, where Democrats outnumber Republicans more than two to one."

Could it be that the hopium is wearing off?
Those republican voter suppression laws must be working.
Of course the President is leading among likely voters in this state.
"Obama administration tells contractors again: Don’t issue layoff notices"
http://thehill.com/blogs/defco...
Yeah! The White House doesn't want to alert the suckers, who are about to take it in the neck, before the election.
Yep, the republicans will cave on their hostage taking over the debt ceiling debacle.
Spineless is the new republican way.
They never cared about reducing the size of government.
You might look at your "The Coming Recession" post for my proof.
Well, it's looks like Obama's bounce is over. Nate's new calculations has Mitt up to a 17.3% chance of winning. I knew it couldn't last.
MrObvious,
"Sorry, we didn't vote for (VP) Sarah Palin or wrote metric tons of prose about Santorum."
=============================
You voted instead for the charlatan and the imbecile. Now you are going to compound that folly by doing it again.
No, I only vote for Obama. If by imbecile you mean Biden then no. You don't vote for the VP - you vote for president. Maybe you haven't figured that out yet.
MrObvious, we got a delivery from UPS earlier today. It was a bunch of stocking stuffer things for Christmas that my wife had ordered. I took the boxes downstairs earlier and got wrapping paper out of the storage room downstairs. My wife wanted to get them wrapped before her mom could snoop through them.
.
My wife went down first so I went into her mom's room and told her that we were going to be busy and that I was going going to lock the door so that she couldn't come down. I told her "You don't EVEN want to know what we're doing and winked at her. That was about an hour ago. I just went upstairs and told the MIL that if my wife kissed her goodnight to make sure that she'd brushed her teeth and gargled first. The MIL told me I was disgusting and then I told her, "Don't kiss her butt either".
.
She's upstairs praying now. I feel evil.
I was supposed to get lucky tonight but because my wife's back is bothering her I told her to wait until tomorrow. I've been up since 5:30 so I'm going to go to bed but I went up just a minute ago to kiss my wife goodnight and stopped off at her mom's room. I was apologizing for upsetting her, then her mom noticed me sniffing my fingers. She threw one of her slippers at me. Some days are just better than others.
Lol. We were sitting on the floor in the downstairs living room wrapping presents. My wife has a bad back. We went upstairs and my wife told her mom that she was so sore that she could barely walk. Her mom stomped off to her room and slammed the door. I asked my wife what the hell had gotten into her mom.
MrObvious,
I see. You only voted for the charlatan not noticing that the imbecile was part of the ticket.
Yes, if by imbecile you meant Biden and not Sarah Palin - yes. No one votes for the VP. Although Mitt sure picked one that costs him seniors votes, I don't worry so much about Biden.
You on the other hand VOTED for Sarah Palin. Not McCain, Sarah. While you won't examine how idiotic that notion is the rest of us find that amusing. At worst Biden is something unfortunate - you actually hoped that SARAH would win and banked and slobbered all over Santorum.
Face it - we're not the extremists - you are. Your devotion to the fringe is absolute.
Our charlatan still kicks your stick figure's butt in November. I think you realize that too. Romney can't win enough swing states to make it to the White House. People just don't want him, they don't trust him and they're NOT going to vote for him. Prepare the excuses for November 7th.
" 'Gamechanger': Elizabeth Warren practiced law in Massachusetts federal court without law license"

What proof is there that lawlessness is a "game changer" in liberal Massachusetts? After all they sent the Hero of Chappaquiddick to the US Senate for four decades.
Massachusetts also elected Governor Willard Romney. In job creation, 47th out of 50. Raised taxes by $750 million a year. Increased long term debt by $2.6 billion.

How can that be? Have people already forgotten this triumph?
To all members of the hive:
This should make your day.
"EXCLUSIVE: As the UN opens its General Assembly session, it is already thinking up new global taxes"

MrObvious,
"Ignoring of course the premise of the taxes."
=============================
The liberal premise of taxes has gone well beyond any need established by the Constitution;
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Not at all
The constitution allows our gov to collect taxes.
Period.
The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.
There you go.
MrObvious,
Stating the obvious, Ob?
The difference is between the taxes required to fulfill the constitutional responsibilities of government and the confiscatory taxes required to build Obama's entitlement state.
No, taxes are taxes. You don't want to pay them, I don't mind. Even if that means someone like you try to live off the commons for free.
There will always be freeloaders like you who love all the perks but none of the responsibilities. I'm just going to have to accept it.
53_3,
"You're not suggesting that paulejb is a Swampland groupie, are you?'
====================================
It's just the opposite, 53. I am surrounded by groupies. You being one of the more obnoxious.
MrObvious,
"And yet here you are defying the impossible."
============================
Only among the poor souls who find the truth painful.
So the reason why you defy the impossible is because poor souls find the truth painful?
MrObvious,
The impossible is penetrating the dense minds of left wing ideologues. You people are invincible in your ignorance.
Sorry, we didn't vote for (VP) Sarah Palin or wrote metric tons of prose about Santorum.
Ignorance is something you're familiar with.
Logic however, not so much.
DonQuixotic,
"But I thought you supported Tyrants like Mubarak."
==============================
And you came to this conclusion through divination, Don?
DonQuixotic,
"Infinity is a concept Paul, nothing can approach it."
===============================
If the extended real line R is considered, i.e., R ∪ {-∞, ∞}, then it is possible to define limits of a function at infinity.
If f(x) is a real function, then the limit of f as x approaches infinity is L, denoted
if for all , there exists S > 0 such that whenever x > S. Or, symbolically:
DonQuixotic,
"So in this analogy I guess that makes you an imaginary enemy that isn't worth my attention?"
================================
It appears that you people need to organize another shunning. The hive is now just embarrassing itself as witless.
