A bit if misinformation presented in the slideshow; someone ought to fact check before publishing! Interesting that both Reagan and Obama, based on pictures, had very presidential looking stages. This year's looks as fractured and chaotic as the GOP seems to be, am waiting to see how the Dem's stage looks.
Dole wasn't the nominee in '76, FORD was the nominee ... that's why he's standing at the podium. Who wrote this article, Alfred E. Newmann?

George H.W. Bush was re-elected? Um, I think you need to recheck that history book. He lost to Clinton in the '92 election.
