paulejb seems to be a little shrill today. Is anything wrong with his party's candidate for President? ;-)
National Review and Rick Perry are calling on Romney to release his taxes.
Wonder when Democrats will call on Obama to release all of his personal documents? School records, transcripts? Anything ??
"He he, compared to you semi-literate dittoheads, anyone is a Mensa member."
This from the genius who wrote of a "BATCH" of honor.
Yeah, it's called a TYPO. Here's the fundamental difference between progressives and conservatives. Most progs. can admit to their mistakes. Most cons try to pass off their mistakes onto others, and think of themselves as infallible. In spite of contrary evidence.
The best of us make mistakes, sport. Just ask B. Clinton.
"Marist poll: Obama 48, Romney 46"
Wheee! Obama up by two in a D+7 poll.
Obama can't even get the simplest things right. He is a disaster.
"Obama misses new budget deadline"
Barack Hussein Obama = EPIC FAIL
Charles Krauthammer is a national treasure.
"The Problem In A Nutshell: Annualized GDP Growth Of 1%; Annualized US Debt Growth of 21%"
Barack Hussein Obama is destroying this country. We cannot afford four more years of this.
"The Incredible Bain Jobs Machine
In a competitive economy, $5,000 computers become $500 tablets. Consumers get to spend the difference elsewhere in the economy."
And everyone gets to access the internet, which was created by government scientiests using government funds. They can do so by using portions of the electromagnetic spectrum licensed by the FCC. They can do so on rapid transit or intercity trains supported by the government or as passengers in cars riding on highways build by governments.
I'm sure glad I can use my iPad without having any contact with the federal government.
I see that you have grown tired of losing arguments, so have resorted to putting up pictures, eh? Good for you.
"Why do you wear it as a batch of honor then??"
"batch of honor?" What is a "batch," scooter?
"Im sorry but that's the point he was making in his post Paule, that we ALL pay taxes."
Nope. Only about 51% of us pay any federal income taxes at all.
Income taxes are one thing. Sales taxes are paid by everyone in some form. One could argue that the poor pay far more proportionately in sales taxes than the 1%.
Not to mention that all but a very few of those who have jobs pay taxes for Social Security and Medicare. More than half of all wager earners pay more in those taxes than in income tax - hardly surprising, given that almost half of all wage earners do pay no income tax.
The point is that there are lots of taxes, a- no one escapes them all, and the curve of all taxes as a percentage of income is remarkably close to flat..
Anyone who purchases pays tax.
Mitt pushes the out of context, after days of whining about how mean the Obama campaign is to him.
Note the part of Romney’s speech in which he said Obama’s claim was insulting to people who work hard to better themselves in life:
“People who reach to try and lift themselves up — the president will say, `well, you didn’t do that, you couldn’t have gotten to school without the roads that government built for you. And you couldn’t have gone to school without teachers, so you’re not responsible for that success.’”
This is just crazy talk, but there’s an actual policy dispute lurking beneath the surface of it. Romney believes government should do less to help people lift themselves up. He thinks the answer is to get government out of the way, unshackle the free market, and allow it to shower opportunity on everyone. He recently claimed that we don’t need more teachers. Obama thinks government should invest more in education to promote social mobility and invest more in our nation’s infrastructure to help secure the future. Polls suggest Americans agree with Obama's broader vision.
Barack Hussein Obama believes in an entitlement society.
More welfare, more food stamps, moreSoc Sec disability and more dependence on bureaucrats for health needs. He has no understanding of what made America great. He is a neo-Marxist peddling ideas long discredited.
It's all for the "collective". You know, how he says about our needing to be saved through "collective salvation".
It's called, I will collect from you, and give it to those people over there. Welcome to Obama's USSRA
And Romney wouldn't have the amount of money or success he have had if the tax code didn't allow him to keep as much or regulation allowed Bain capital to extort the amount of fees they do, slicing and dicing companies like corporate loan sharks.
I bet it was really helpful to the people of these companies that they leveraged them with loans and when they sank he simply outsourced or fired anyone and re-hired a bunch of low paid service workers.
With help like that he should just have given them a bunch of .32 specials with one bullet instead. You're welcome.
