Shouldn't romney have the hater vote sewed up by now?  Why is he still throwing them red meat?

I find it ironic that the republicans claim that they're going to "vet" the president by rehashing a bunch of old crap that didn't do any damage in 2008...when Obama was relatively unknown.  Seriously...they think they need to vet him after over 3 1/2 years as president?  Seriously?

Shouldn't they vet their own candidate before vetting Obama again?  They could have avoided all the self-inflicted wounds they've received recently if they would have at least vetted romney as closely as they did palin - it doesn't appear they even did that much.

Republicans are a real hoot!

Rove, Palin, Trump, Santorum, Bachmann, others and now Arpaio created this era of bazaar and irresponsible political antics.  They use creative accusations to excite and confuse people’s thinking and it has been extreme and unending.  There simply are those who try desperately to distract from their own short-comings and with bold and far-out criticisms seek to excite and confuse the public.  Any who are taken in by these performances would likely be swayed by any disparagement, without making any real common sense evaluation, and will have only themselves to blame when the deception becomes obvious along with the neglect and self-serving efforts of those perpetrating the con.  The rest of us really need to see reality, become insulted by being taken for granted, as if easily duped and manipulated, and then not only reject the propaganda but also reject those seeking to use and abuse us.  Had that been the past course of action, we wouldn’t have been exploited so easily with their total concentration always on benefiting only “the few”, on faulting and blocking all corrective efforts and always on “the money”, jointly with their “puppet” politicians, being focused on spending to con the people and manipulate public opinion while pursuing their self-serving goals.

The dishonesty of the Republican Party is totally gross and absolutely disgusting and it should neither be excused nor tolerated.  They do it with complete abandonment, boldly and obnoxiously, as a totally self-serving effort.  To take a moment and review all of the Republican positions, noting nothing done for the people and everything done for “the money” while depending on subterfuge to rationalize and justify, makes everything totally clear.  Whenever the people come to recognize they are being played and firmly reject it, then the Republicans will have to turn their act around, instead of just depending on the money, power and influence of “the money” to support them.

Isn't Sununu walking this back a little - and leaving the likes of 3x high and dry?

This from a man who (according to Wikipedia)

As White House Chief of Staff, Sununu reportedly took personal trips,

for skiing and other purposes, and classified them as official, for

purposes such as conservation or promoting the Thousand Points of Light. The Washington Post wrote that Sununu's jets "took him to fat-cat Republican fund-raisers, ski lodges, golf resorts and even his dentist in Boston."

What John Sununu should have said is.

I wish the President would learn what it means to be an American.

Obama's Left Wing agenda shows that he doesn't have a clue as to what has made America, in a short 226 years, the greatest country the world has ever known. Our free enterprise system has brought more people out of poverty and more prosperity to it's people than any other political sysytem in history.

Liberal/Progressives are doing their best to try to change American from a country that was created based on individual rights where the government answers to the people to a Western Europe type Social-Democracy [Socialism Lite] where the Government has near total control over the people.

I know Obama and the rest of you Liberals believe in your cause but it is not in the DNA of our great country and you will fail.

In November the American people will speak with their vote and they will reject your vision of America. Those of us who truely believe in the greatness of our country and believe it is the best hope of the world will send your leader and his team packing.

You'd think shame alone would cause him to shut up but he has none.  I'm betting that the pain of another term for Obama will shut him and the rest of the nutters up for a time while they lick their wounds from the self-imposed shellacking that they're going to take in November.

Diecash1
Diecash1

That's a serious case of projection that you've got there, gramps. It seems that you don't want the government you've got so perhaps it is you that should move. Maybe when Obama wins in November you'll get the message and run off to that right wing nutter paradise of Somalia. No government there to get in the way of your (imaginary) greatness. It's perfect.

No he was just speaking what he believes about a president who doesn't like his own country very much. He wants to make it into a Social-Democracy [Socialim Lite].

Most Americans do not want to have a big government control our lives. That's not what this great country was built on.

Most Liberals don't care much for our country today. They want to make it into something radically different than our founding fathers intented.

As Obama has said "he wants to transform America".

Back up the assertion old man.

1 - BO does not want to make the US a socialized country. That's bs

2- back up where you assert BO doesn't like his own country. Why is it that when someone disagrees with the right, they are unpatriotic, unAmerican, or don't like their country?

You don't hear the left accuse you of that. The left just tells the truth - and says you're an idiot for making baseless assertions in the first place.

Can't argue against BO's policies - any of them, honestly - so you attack the man personally.

That's pathetic. Both the argument and the poster.

It's your party that doesn't like this country.  They constantly harp on wanting to do away with government.  Drown it in a bathtub.  We are a government; government r us.    We were founded as a government.   If you don't want government - go find yourself an island and live with no rules and regulations.   Feel free.

jillibrown
jillibrown

You're right 3x - your party doesn't think the "USA must be 'fundamentally changed' - and that's the problem - to compound their problem, they don't have a choice.  The country is changing whether they like it or not - with or without them.  Their fantasy notions of "their country", this Mayberry idea of America never really existed, and the closest proximity - has been sold out from under them by the republican legislators years ago.  They can don all the ridiculous costumes they want, they can gripe and whine, and hold onto their alternate reality for as long as they choose, and it won't matter - the rest of the country - and the rest of the world moves forward.

3xfire3
3xfire3

My party love our country and the Constitution and Bill of Rights on which it was founded.

My party is not the one that thinks the USA must be "Fundamentally Changed."

Your's is the one that doesn't like our country very much.

He [Obama] wants to make it into a Social-Democracy

Back it up or shut it up, gramps.  How can you nutters lie with such abandon?  It's beyond pathetic how easily you do it too.  I suppose you follow the Costanza rule:  It's not a lie if you believe it.

The corollary to that is this:  Believing it doesn't make it true.

Learn it, live it, love it, gramps.

Diecash1

Unfortunately for you, gramps, you're not nearly as wise or knowledgeable as you think you are. You've got no clue what reality looks like, Mr Magoo, as evidenced by your ridiculous commentary. Enjoy watching Mittens get mud-stomped in November. That bit of reality is going to hurt (for you anyway.)

Obama continues to show how "out of touch" he is with small business owners:

"If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

The National Federation of Independent Business said the president's

"unfortunate remarks over the weekend show an utter lack of

understanding and appreciation for the people who take a huge personal

risk and work endless hours to start a business and create jobs,"

Job creation?   Obama remains totally clueless.

When you listen to the whole speech, it's very clear that Obama hates the very notion of self dependance. You cheer for the demise of a great country.

It's actually quite simple. Obama nor any of these liberals have a clue how the free enterprise system works or how jobs are created.

They are takers from society. Not givers.

They hate sucessful people and want income redistribution because they have not had very successful careers.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help.

There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to

create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you

to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a

business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The

Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created

the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the

Internet.
