One of the latest offerings of the Obama Campaign’s swag store quotes, um, liberally from the cover line of my recent TIME story on the Latino vote. The shirt costs $30, and is part of a larger collection of newly released Latino- and Hispanic-themed merchandise. (You can get the original cover print from TIME for $19.95, which makes the shirt seem expensive if you ignore the fact that you can’t wear the cover print.)
The shirt also lacks any description of the problems, as detailed in the article, that President Obama faces among Latino voters, but then TIME won’t be getting any residuals, so perhaps no harm no foul. I’d say I’m looking forward to the Romney Campaign’s “So You Like Me Now?” shirt, but I’m not holding my breath.
