La Jolla, Calif. - In late August, the Romney campaign confirmed that the former governor has plans to nearly quadruple the size of his $12 million West Coast abode—from about 3,000 square feet to a cool 11,000 square feet. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the plans call for keeping the existing lap pool and spa but essentially bulldozing the Spanish-style one-story home and building a two-story structure in its place.
