Right now, as I write this, CNN is interviewing Donald Trump about the debt ceiling deal. This is the same dude who pulled everyone’s chain last spring, “running” for President to boost his reality-show’s rating, by saying some of the most outlandish stuff imaginable about the President. And CNN is consulting him as someone who might have an opinion of value about our current political and economic situation? Don’t they have any standards at all over in that corner of Time Warner? I mean the anchor was just saying to Richard Quest what a “circus” this debt ceiling situation was…and then she’s interviewing Donald Trump? I have muted the thing in order to retain my lunch.
