I’ve been jumping back and forth between CNN and MSNBC  the past few hours, waiting for the Mubarak Moment–and anchors on both networks keep on mis-pronouncing Frank Wisner’s name: Wise-ner, they’re calling him. I mean, c’mon. Any anchor worth his/her salt should know who Wisner is and how to pronounce his name–and even that his father, also known as Frank Wisner (Sr.) was one of the founders of the CIA. We’ve had Frank Wisners in prominent diplomatic and security positions for the past 60 years. Is it too much to ask that when U.S. cable networks deal with foreign policy, their anchors and producers know a little bit about  foreign policy?
