Never ever post a video that includes The Situation and a Palin.
You have polluted the site. I did not open the video in hopes of containing its essence. Ick!!
I have purposefully never watched that Jersey show and avoid anything that exploits Palin’s children.
There is a limit on how much our society can be debased by sleaze.

I know sacredh has taken some time off from posting but we need his unique perspective on this.

I haven’t pushed the watch button and have no idea what this is about beyond something about Palin and large condoms. But I wonder how others know, intuitively? Whatever, I don’t think I would be interested in it.

Consider yourself lucky. I stopped on that show a couple of times to see what it was about and am pretty sure I lost IQ points by doing so.

Just how narrow minded and mean spirited can one person be, april? The message is about using common sense and good judgment, yet you call it sleaze. I know, april, your definition of birth control is aborting the fetus, should pregnancy occur. Many of us think there are better alternatives and if, for once, you would open your mind, you just MIGHT learn something.

ok, so the objections of earl and 2rocks caused me to watch. Pffffttt. Nothing especially shocking or enlightening. Just right wing religious anti-sex pitch. I thought “The Situation” was some teevee series. Turns out to be about Sarah’s “situation” and her admonition to other teens to avoid it (yeah, right).

Speaking of hijacking a thread, and I have no problem with that, let’s not forget that German democracy was hijacked by the right wing. Lest we forget.

oh, message to Sarah, if a “situation” ever occurs again, (highly unlikely it won’t and hasn’t) please don’t be so quick to dismiss them condoms. Only the most cynical anti-religious, liberal fanatics (like me) would call you a mindless hypocrite for doing so.

Only Earl Jr. would think you could be “enlightened” by watching a discussion between a mouthbreathing Jersey Shore castmember and teen pregnancy spokesmodel Bristol Palin.

I’m not sure what’s worse — if they’re all too dumb to realize what they’re peddling isn’t true, or if they’re smart enough to know their mouthbreathing viewers are dumb enough to believe it.

Stupid me. Watching Dancing with the Stars, I realize it is Bristol, not Sarah I mean to address, although no doubt Sarah stomps about in the mind of Bristol. Same difference.

earljr: Why do you make so many nasty assumptions about me. I was raised Catholic and believe abortion should only be used in rare situations. I know the masculine dominated church hierarchy would not agree but their moral authority is limited.
Also, I would not want any child of mine to take advice from either Bristol Palin or “The Situation”. They are not my idea of role models.
By the way I have had 2 children, used birth control for 9 years and my ex had a vasectomy. I consider that responsible behavior.
How many children have you had? I am sure you procreated as much as possible.

I feel sorry for the Palin kids. Sarah has exploited them and put them a position to be degraded.
I have never known a candidate past or future to do that to his/her children. Most politicians go out of their way to keep their kids from public scrutiny. Not the Wasilla 1/2 governor. I think it is a demonstration of her lack of class and certainly, as a mama grizzly, she is not protecting them.

Unfortunately James, many forget. I have seen people on here genuinely argue that Hitler and fascism are extreme liberal ideologies. It is a ridiculousness that needs to be continually corrected. History can quickly be distorted if educated people aren’t continually assessing and referencing it.
