Alaska Politics Blog : Miller’s news conference…, posted with vodpod
Many of the Tea Party candidates thus far this cycle have been declining to speak to the mainstream media, while still doing local press. Alaska’s Joe Miller, though, is bucking the trend: he’s still speaking to national media (just before this press conference he was on Fox News), but he’s no longer answering questions from local media. Miller’s upset with the Alaska Dispatch’s investigation into his employment records. Miller said he’d no longer answer questions about his personal life. Um, since when is employment history considered personal?

When I was in Alaska, GOP Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich told me Miller’s challenge is to appeal to all Alaskans. That might be tough if he’s only speaking to talk radio and Fox News.
