The ad with a Democrat firing a rifle would have caused liberals to use comparisons to extremists if that was a Republican ad. Imagine Sarah Palin…leftists would be on the rant for weeks.

If a Republican had run an ad identical to the Manchin ad but with a Republican in the place of Manchin, you’d have every leftist political activist at ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, A-Mess-NBC, the Washington Post-Democrat, the New York Times-Democrat, the Associated (with terrorists) Press, NPR, al Reuters, al Jazeera, al McClatchy, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, Good Housekeeping, Ladies’ Home Journal, et al., denouncing the ad as “a call for the assassination of Obama!”

I just find it fascinating that a particular world view reacts differently to the ad. Which can be interpreted as target practice, which I don’t find violent. If you punch a punching bag are you implying using violence? Dig a hole in your yard, implying that you want to bury someone? Karate is a martial art that can kill, if you practice Karate are you advocating violence?

On the other hand the video of a teacher blowing children to bloody bits to promote a environmental policy is not only imply, but a graphic terrorist video, that many tried to play off as funny.

If half the state is on federal aid, what’s that say about the success of the stimulus? The federal government wants to implement more regulations and laws to help, help put millions more out of work. And speaking of dumbsh!t rhetoric, look in the mirror.
