Thank You, Kaiser Family Foundation

The policy wonks over at the Kaiser Family Foundation have been built the world’s best tool for comparing the various iterations of health care reform. Aptly called the “Side-by-Side Comparison of Major Health Care Reform Proposals,” it contains reliable, plain language interpretations of the House and Senate bills, plus the committee bills that came before them, plus a number of other Republicans and Democratic health reform proposals. The Foundation even has President Obama’s new plan incorporated into the tool – yes, that’s the plan released yesterday. They work fast! Users can compare and contrast entire bills or just sections dealing with taxes or benefit design, for example. I’ve been one of those users for the past year or so and am posting in hopes that more will discover and use this incredibly helpful tool.
