After all the huffing and puffing by various Cheneys, assorted Republicans and cable news idiots, it turns out that the almost exactly the same number of Americans feel confident that the Obama Administration will be able to protect them from terrorism as did before the Undiebomber incident.
This doesn’t mean that Al Qaeda sponsored terrorism emanating from Yemen isn’t a big deal or that a tightening up of airline security isn’t a wise move, it’s just that Americans seem inured to, and unimpressed by, arrant fear-mongering.
